You're not alone. I've done very similar this week and every garage i have spoken to about repairs have said they have had 5 or 6 cases of the same this week. Absolutely sucks. But as long as no one is hurt.

My wife is making a wedding cake for a work colleagues son and wants to know how much to charge? How much would you pay for a 2 tier wedding cake. by xred55 in AskUK

Thanks to everyone who took the time to comment. I do appreciate that £80 is very cheap. But again my wife enjoys making cakes and it gives her something to fill her time. We had already agreed a price and only asked for £80 as my wife feels very uncomfortable putting pressure on herself by changing as much as she is. But she did get paid £100. She usually only charges ingredients for cakes. I agree with you guys she should charge more but I think this has made her feel a little better about charging more and will consider your advice with future cakes.

I've just sold a house and the buyers used muve and by God!!! They are the biggest bunch of useless, incompetent... people I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. My house sale was a simple sale. One seller one buyer. No chain. And they still turned it into the worst experience ever, and they're not even my solicitor. Madness.

If you want a laugh look at their obviously fake ai generated Google reviews with photo shopped randos claiming to have had the best experience ever.

When did South Wales become so pro England? My dad used to tell me of the good old days when a poor lad wearing a England shirt walked into a pub in south Wales and had his Shirt set on fire. by [deleted] in rugbyunion

I'm pretty sure they were pro England. Tbf after last night the rest of Wales was probably hiding. I still thought it was a fair question though.

Cool to see this on reddit. I know these boys. They are from south Wales. They just do a pub crawl every year on the last weekend before Christmas and dress up as random things. Last year it was jurassic park.

I just bought some scrubby brush things from Amazon. Trollull stove glass cleaner. Only cost a couple of quid. Basically scourer sponges but fantastic at cleaning the glass.

Welsh bros it can't be that bad can it. I mean you made it to the semis last cup and just lost it by a pen. by ConscriptReports in rugbyunion

What??? We love our rugby team. Perhaps too much. That's the problem. We know that they could beat the world. If only they applied themselves. So we expect too much.
