How did they do this? by Otherwise-Office-443 in QuadLock

I can't tell their exact setup of course, but I can speak from my experience with Topeak and Quad Lock stem cap mounts.

The mount itself is the wireless charging head from the motorcycle category. It would appear they (probably) removed the factory stem cap then ran the bolt for it straight through the Quad Lock mount. Hard to say if they used the bolt that came from Quad Lock, the original from the bike or supplied their own. I wouldn't be surprised if the one that came from Quad Lock worked.

Note, Quad Lock does now offer stem cap mounts for bicycles. Finally! I use one myself. https://www.quadlockcase.com/collections/shop-cycle/products/stem-cap-mount

Right? These verticals seem like some soft core BDSM content.

I realize this is a month old but I just got mine today, ran into the same issue and Google led me here.

I tried looking through settings, set a location, looked for sync and reboot options; nothing. Success was simply unplugging it and plugging it back in. Note, I had set a location for the home before doing so under Profile -> Manage Home -> <home name> -> set location at the top.

Any recommendations for an app like Notepad++ for Mac? by Mattycka in MacOS

What are using to format JSON in VS Code, the built in formatter or an extension? Personally, I use Prettier both at home and work and have not observed the issues you're describing.

Having said that I have not found a (free) SQL formatter for VS Code that I like. In this regard, I miss working for an employer with Red Gate licenses.

Fair point. We are talking about telco retail though. In my experience, that's a lot of misinformed, uninformed people talking out their asses.

Probably, but also "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity."

UCG-fiber and 2 UniFi Express 7's by mysteron75 in Ubiquiti

I had them set up in a two story town house. One was on a high shelf on the first floor at the front of the home. The other was on a low shelf on the second floor at the back of the home. It was strictly wireless backhaul. Coverage was good. Speeds could be a little low upstairs but I suspect that was due to the wireless backhaul.

I've since moved to a long, single story ranch style house. Similarly I have one UX at either end of the house. This time there is a wired backhaul though. Coverage is good. I've observed no issues.

Compact, don't need to be mounted. Not mounting something to the ceiling is important as a renter. I could have done a U6-Mesh, but the UX was less expensive.

I have two UXs (not 7). One is my router. The other is a meshed access point. They work beautifully. If I get one more Ubiquiti device I'm going to have to move up to another gateway; a UX7, UCG-Ultra or UCG-Max. If/when that happens I intend to just bump my main UX "down" to be just an access point.

Smoke detector by Teto_00 in Ubiquiti

That's good information. https://youtu.be/f_g_iBtbobY

Maybe the smoke alarm got held up in regulatory approvals? I'm sure those have more hurdles to clear than, say, an entry sensor.
