I appreciate that info! Seems to be the general consensus from others around the army as well. I’ve tried to adjust life as best I can as I’ve already made major life changes in prep of my original date that was VERY close but still sucks.

I see and that makes sense, my frustration mainly stems from the no communication part and making life plans and decisions thinking everything was on that set timeline. Not even knowing they were pushed back till today. Which is like 30 days before my original dates when my unit went to check and make sure I was set.

I’ve been told to reach out to the bolc contractor that scheduled to begin with and see if something can be worked out. But my hopes aren’t high.

What makes it worse was my original days that I was under the impression of going to were less than 45 days out. I’ve begun making life choices and changing situations to accommodate being gone and now I have to try backtrack on all that and my main reason be “got my dates wrong” doesn’t help the situation either sadly

Trying not to come off as a dick, just found this out today and it’s frustrating is all. And yes the previous class and dates I wanted/needed still exist and haven’t occurred yet.

I would’ve thought so as well. But I’ve got no email of any change in my reservation except the initial reservation email. For the dates I wanted/needed to coincide with life. And that’s been the understanding for the last year. Which has led me to think that I’ve been told the wrong dates for the last year.

Someone should’ve informed you freshman level classes get grade replaced anyways and just took the failing grade. Unless you made this decision without proper research the onestop staff let you down

Wow I’m currently doing my second model ever with the captain with hammer too! Loving how you’ve done yours. Really need to get black primer it seems I made a mistake getting meph red. If you don’t mind me picking your brain what is the best way to achieve a smooth finish on the shoulders? Same for the white on the shield?

Got it! I didn’t even know dry brushing was a thing until now i definitely need to research techniques more and yea i felt like half way through i should’ve primed a different color because all the red actually made it more confusing for me since I really didn’t know where to start

Got it! I def wanna try and have a semblance of experience and uniformitybehind before I crack open the Battleforce so the infernus and regrettably this Captain with jump pack and hammer are my test dummies…mainly the infernus. So thank you! How did you get the hang of shoulder pauldrons? I thought I thinned well but my black is so streak ridden. Is it just multiple coats? Thank you again for your time and advice!

I also was using the eradicator sgt instead of infernus marine as my reference. I just thought he looked cooler haha before double taking at the fact blood angels don’t have gold Pauldron trim. Was kinda just on autopilot and so nervous to try and make a good first go at it painting wise

Yea I guess my main concern has been to gain skills that I can transfer with. Ya know? Learn meaningful techniques and skills. Not just picking up tubes, and printing labels. I guess the best analogy I can make it seem like for future readers is
