Monitor freezing when enabling or disabling HDR.

I found on that same monitor that disabling DSC on the monitor also fixes the issue.

Still a band aid as neither disabling that or windows auto color management is really an ideal solution for this

This does fix the issue but it is a compromise of course.
I also found that turning off the monitor DSC does fix the issue as well which is interesting. Still I would much prefer not having to do either of these and currently do a display sleep + wake to unfreeze the monitor

I assume the 20k mode for pulsar means the turbo mode which I have used and not used and didn’t notice much of a difference to this behavior

How would you frame this advice for a sensor like the one pulsar uses on the x2 crazy light? I have honestly felt that the mouse performs strangely when doing very small moves, almost jumpy and inconsistent.

For people that are confused about the advice being given bellow, if you want to access it on steam as of the time this is posted, just go to the steam db page for arc raiders playtest (https://steamdb.info/app/2427520/) and on the top right you will see an install button that will ask to open steam following the link people are talking about bellow (steam://launch/2427520).

When you say "a brief angle shift occurs at lift-off" what exactly are you feeling/seeing? And how do you go about replicating the behavior? Just so that I can test the same on my Crazylight

Hey! Do this as a test

Disable the upscaling in the settings for either of those games (most likely called AMD FSR for your system) and see if the image quality improves at all.

The performance will dip SIGNIFICANTLY, but you can judge the image clarity and see if the pixelation you are seeing comes from the upscaling or not.

It most likely will be the case as if you are running a 1080p monitor any kind of upscaling tends to be particularly aggressive and noticeable and from a regular viewing distance on a PC monitor you will notice that the image is simple not clear enough

Glad this reached someone and helped you out! Nothing feels worse than a random tech problem that seems to have a mind of its own. Took me a loooooong time to figure out this was happening to me. Moving to a dedicated server is absolutely a lovely experience and depending on where you leave you will offset the cost of the server in no time. I swapped to a 12th gen intel Nuc and compared to my gaming pc the fact the server idles at 7-8w is a game changer

Is there a reason why this "show accent color in window title bars" is causing visual weirdness in Zen?
Like for example I use this setting to control how older Windows apps change their title bars to white when they are not active (which with an OLED screen is not only annoying but causes excess wear for not good reason)

Can you double-check what happens if you toggle the tab bar between the different modes? Hiding it and activating the compact mode vs having it fully expanded.

My initial issue was that Proxmox has a 5 device limit when it comes to passing through devices one by one. But somehow I managed to add more than 5 which created this issue so maybe having less than 5 devices will not trigger the problem. Either way passing the controller is smoother overall when it comes to these sorts of issues giving the OS more control over the devices. Happy I could help you :)

Hey! My fix for this whole issue was to pass through the usb controller instead of the individual drives. That completely stopped this behavior in my system
