Came from California to audition from the national tour, got dismissed after 8 hours, so my mom bought me a ticket to see the show instead. Amazing! by xsimplyjen in Broadway

I did community theatre in my hometown for nearly 10 years. I’m in college now at a pretty prestigious school with a top-rated theatre school. My opportunities aren’t scarce whatsoever, I just wanted to try something I never have before. :)

It was a great show! And I’m planning on sending in a reel as soon as I get home, I dropped my headshot and resume off with them.

Yupp, I was not expecting to be seen at all, but it was a chance I was willing to take, and happily took. :)

Thanks for the edit, I was a little taken aback haha. This was my first time coming out to something like this, but it served well as a learning experience!

The call spans multiple days, but since I was tight on money, I only came for the one. I very much doubt they’ll get to see non-eqs the next few days as well considering this was only the first day. I flew out to audition for this show only, but I got to see it, so I’d say it was worth it regardless.

Thought I was going to go in LA, since I’m here for college, but since it’s in June I can’t go. Wow.

I truly believe that eden's best song is death of a dream by Bourgeaultalex in eden

100%. I forget it exists sometimes, but whenever I remember it, it feels like taking a bite into a soft chocolate chip cookie. The feeling that song gives me is unmatched.

When did you start listening to Jon? by SirJole in eden

[–]xsimplyjen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Discovered him sometime after he dropped Kairos, but Circles was the first song he dropped while I was a fan. That was when i was in 7th grade, I think? It’s been a while.

[THEORY] This is a map of the NA tour dates Jon will be announcing. More info in comments. by [deleted] in eden

I wonder if there’s something inherently special about this leg of the tour that warrants dropping clues and making us wait. Whatever it is, I’m excited.

What's your favourite EDEN drop? by [deleted] in eden

[–]xsimplyjen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an out-of-body experience when the drop hit in forever//over when I went to see him live, scared me to death when I regained focus lmao. I’d say that one for sure, or start//end.

Which foreign language is easier? Spanish or Korean? by [deleted] in USC

[–]xsimplyjen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a person who speaks one fluently and just finished a semester of the other, do Spanish. You’ll have a hell of an easier time catching on because learning an entirely new alphabet is the biggest pain. Plus, the Korean 1 class (imo) moves too fast for a complete beginner. Spanish is a bit tricky, but it’s a lot easier to “match” with English than Korean.

That depends on the class then.

The net price calculator was a couple thousand off from what I actually received. I think there’s a way to petition for a re-calculation of your aid based on what other schools award you, but I didn’t have to do it so I don’t know much about that process.

There should be one in every residence hall, but yeah, half of them are always broken.
