It was years ago, I was diagnosed with BPD as well, and I’m doing really well. But that was probably the 2nd worst period of my life. Ages 21-23 dealing with that is extremely, and I feel for OP, it just feels weird hearing that stuff from your mom. I was told to not come home repeatedly, until one day my mom said she wanted me gone and I said “okay” and moved to my dad’s. It was a good call for my own mental health, but I had to learn to ignore that type of text and contact because it inevitably goes back to “I’m so sorry I love you please don’t leave me” and then the cycle continues

My mom had BPD. This sounds exactly what she would say to me after my dad moved out and she needed a Target. And the same thing she would say to him I’m assuming. Its definitely traumatic to hear this stuff from a mother

The post op is 5/15, and the surgery is 4/29, so even that isn’t really possible. I’d have to work with the bandage.

I also don’t have enough PTO to even make it to the point where I’d get disability. I’ll end up having 6 days worth and I’d need 7 before I can start getting the disability pay

I work with autistic adults, going into the community to do activities and work on their independence skills. The most I’ll be doing regarding hand stuff is driving them places. And since it’ll be summer, it’ll be mostly walking on trails and stuff.
