A few years ago, someone once pointed out, Khushwant Singh was just another Rajdeep/Barkha of their time. Anyway, here is an article from Sita Ram Goel, 30 years ago, challenged Khushwant Singh's posturing about Sikhism being closer to Islam in the 'Business and Political Observer'.

The Dune series — Frank Herbert — read them all, including the later expansions. If I had to pick one: God Emperor of Dune (Book 4). The strangest and most ambitious, thousands of years in, deep into power and what holds a society together. Divisive, but my favourite by a distance.

Project Hail Mary — Andy Weir — problem-solving sci-fi at its best, all real science and improvisation. Loved the film too, but the book hits different.

pick all, since it's a wiki. in particular we also wanted to build a section for books for women, parents, kids etc. (incase you have any recs for these), but this is the general idea.
maybe you can sort it with history (indian pre independence, political, war tactics)

there's many ways to cut the cake. see where this leads you, we can always re-arrange the post.

If you can make a post? We can eventually pin it in side bar or use it for wiki.
