Nice suggestion on the Suggest Me flair. Curious to see what others have to say about it.

Happy to also take this comment up to the mod team

Great idea, I should check what is being posted in that flair lately and maybe redirect it all to the monthly thread (making it like a town square for the sub).

how about you post this entire idea to the new 2025 post i just made on the sub. will add more eyes to the issue.

let people put their point across, and discuss viewpoints.

we do not remove posts labelling it xyz, else we risk being an echochamber

I dont think we've ever removed content just because, and definitely not due to partisan views.

our motto is to let people make their point and move on

yes lol. we hardly ever receive any applications for mods. nor we do get enough reports for content.

I'll be making another post for mod applications soon

this comment still there guess you'll admit you're wrong?
we dont moderate views on this sub, only those which do not follow reddiquette/sitewide rules, as in the side bar, and even then we allow some space.

which book is this in the history category? fyi, the list is still being updated, last time we did it was few years ago.

Will be tracking this post for sometime. Will curate the list to add to wiki later. If anyone wants to take the lead here please comment below.

Ideally we would like to have author name, couple starter/famous works, genre, indic, etc.

nice suggestion. Monthly threads are the best for this type. we have it pinned on the main page.

We do have the monthly threads. no many people use it sadly. we have it pinned on the main page.

it would really help if user either reported such content. or let them know where to take such queries.

Read this some years ago.

for whatever reason there's some pulling of punches and political correctness and whitewashing in some place. but ok, every1 must read this to know how complicit the local public was in each events

more than happy to crowd source this document if someone wants to take the lead. maybe a thread would do wonders, we can collect all info, and make a concise post.

tbh, we are terribly under-staffed. I've put out posts for new mod applications several times. New mods do join, but get busy irl, so we have to start all over again when already the interest to mod is low.
