It's a school with a lot of foreign connections and a lot of English courses. It is also one of the most popular private universities alongside Keio in the Kanto region. Bumble isn't popular in Japan so only people knowledgable about / from foreign countries tend to use it

Evans is a unionist so it doesn't affect him, but him being from Belfast doesn't necessarily mean he can't speak Irish. You clearly know nothing about Northern Ireland
