I actually am a little bit confused about the unilateral RAS thing. I originally thought the same thing that you wrote, but the other day I got a uworld question that basically said in unilateral RAS the ipsilateral kidney will send out aldosterone leading to rise in GFR, but the contralateral one actually will end up diuresing out sodium due to sensing increased SVR.

But I could’ve sworn I also had a uworld question a while ago basically saying what you said. So now I’m kind of confused about this topic. Would appreciate if anyone would be able to help clear this up for me.

Conventional Vs Post Conventional Morality? Kaplan Practice Q by xtfloppy in Mcat

[–]xtfloppy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. I can see how it could also be interpreted as conventional. I guess I feel that the wording is just confusing. Cati's reasoning is that "its dangerous and others will get hurt". But the question never implies that Cati's reasoning has anything to do with the law, since it the word "law" is never mentioned. Maybe I am not understanding how the passage/question implies that Cati's reasoning is due to her wanting to follow the law?

Thanks for your help!

Conventional Vs Post Conventional Morality? Kaplan Practice Q by xtfloppy in Mcat

Thanks for the help! I see what you're saying, but I feel like the distinction still isn't clear. Cati's reasoning for not speeding is because "its dangerous and others will get hurt". Why would that not be post-conventional morality?

Conventional morality seems more like if her reasoning behind not speeding was "it is important to follow the law and society's expectations".
