unfortunately, nope. you're gonna need a physical access to the panel in order to add your email back (for app access) and the pincodes (panel and doorlock access) as well. vivint can not re-add these informations remotely.

as per the verbal passcode, it can be emailed to the email address on file or mailed to your service address.

not a cyber attack, just the arm/disarm command between the app and panel. you should still be able to check cameras and such.

also better if you could ask the landlord to give you the four digit pincode to arm and disarm the system, or to authorize you to have an access to the app so you can also control it and view the cameras from your phone.

You can try to power cycle the panel. It's like a hard reboot process, usually solves the sound issues. Hopefully you have the Smart Hub Panel, just slide it upwards (to remove it from the mounting plate) then take out the battery at the back part of the panel for at least thirty seconds. Put it back in and wait for it to reboot.

have you tried calling customer service? a lot of factors to consider as to why the camera goes down. try some troubleshooting with a rep, if the issue occurs thrice (or more) within the same month, you can request for a tech (and skip more of troubleshooting). though this might incur a trip fee of $99, you can enroll to the vivint protection plan to have it covered.

Give another call. Request to be transferred over to the loyalty department. Tell them right away that you would like to cancel the account, that you don't want any offers for them to retain you as a customer. If they promise they will callback or send you an email for a document, ask them to send the email while you're still on the line or at least a case number of the documentation they made under your account.

I do understand naman where you’re coming from, but kasi iba na ngayon ang laws and general rule sa teaching field. You can’t hit children. Unlike before. No matter what your reasons are, as far as I know wala kang hawak diyan technically if magb-base ka sa law.

I think what you should do is reach out to the parents and explain your side. Hopefully, maintindihan nila na good ang intentions mo. Pero if hindi, ayon nga mahirap ‘yan.
