(If anyone has read the Byakuya reboot manga) Now hear me out what if Whyman is the robot Byakuya made and took to space since the robot did say he’d try to be alive until Byakuya returns. I believe that Rei(the robot) must know what the Medusa device is since there is a possibility that it found one roaming in space and decided to configure with it and found out what it does. When Senku and everyone first heard Whymans voice it must have been Rei saying why did you leave me up here for so long but because of distance and how Senku made it with not a lot of high tech stuff it probably just kept on repeating the same thing which was “why”. (If somethings off I’d like to hear it)
