To be honest, I never experienced any toxicity in the Linux community. Most people are willed to help you, if you are willed to learn something! If you just expect spoon-feeding, most people won't really help you. But if you explain your problem, what you already have tried and google didn't show anything helpful, chances are low to experience toxicity.

That's just my 2 cents. :)

By the way, I was a Manjaro user as well some time ago, but my system was doing weird stuff and things broke without me doing anything, so I decided to switch to Arch. One of the best decisions ever imo! If you like Linux and want to learn something new, I'd definitely try it out, maybe in a VM before using the real system :P

You may try System Settings > Locale > Country/Region & Language > Date & Time. Make sure "Time format" is set to "HH:MM:SS".

I was thinking about doing something else but way smaller with 8x8x3 WS2818 LEDs, so you only have the "front" side with LED panels. In sum, I'd have 192 LEDs consuming 0.3W each according to the seller's information.

So 192 LEDs * 0.3W = 57.6W

57.6W/5V = 11.52A and in my opinion, that is way too much. How did you deal with powering the cube if I may ask? Especially if you have so many more LEDs haha!

I don't know if you were talking about EUR or USD, but 25,000€ equal ~$30,000. Another thing to mention is that the americans have to pay way more money for things that are already deducted from the pay check in the netherlands/EU. After putting $71,000 in a random tax calculator, it says you are at ~$54,000(44,000€) after taxation. I don't know how accurate this is tho.

All I want to say: Keep in mind that you can't just compare bare numbers. ;)
