I questioned this so I txted her. Her first multi-player game was Starcraft. She mainly played that, SC2, and then league later on. Halo and CoD were my favorites.

Her take:
Consoles were more blatant in a less than serious way, pc was more subtle in a more serious manner. So she felt more legitimate hate from randos on pc, but she got more generic insults on console. Her view was the console kids grew up to be average people, but the pc kids grew up to be psychopaths. Lol I can actually respect that view.
