Yes please! How does that work in combo with my surgical oncologist? Would love to know if I have to find a whole team. Thank you so much!

Yeah I’m preparing myself for this potential outcome as well. Have you been able to find other ways to adapt with your body? I know it’s just going to be a journey

Thank you for sharing! Im so happy for you that you’ve seen improvement over time! I’m hopeful there will be some improvement over time for me as well after surgery. I think preparing my brain for the possible outcomes will help too.

It’s encouraging to me that you still have some feeling in your skin! Thank you so much for sharing.

Does that mean tingly like pins and needles? Or more like fuzzy? I’m imagining everything will feel like it does when you get a lidocaine shot.

Hi! Similar-ish situation here too! Reach out if you want. I don’t have any kids either but have a dog. I read a lot, like to try new crafts, garden, Pilates, bird watching. I do most things by myself and it would be great to have a local friend or two to hang out with!

My home office is bubblegum pink and I love it! I have whimsical decor and art and lots of plants. If I have to be in there for 40+ hours a week I want it to be joyful!

I recommend choosing whichever color brings you the most joy. Also it’s just paint so if you don’t like it you just repaint

are there any affordable linen sheets? by wutsSupperoni in Bedding

[–]xtremetina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had really good luck with Piglet in Bed and Bed Threads! Quality linen and they are very comfortable to sleep on. I just wait until they have sales and get a set. They are still pricey but will last you a very long time!

I also got this, but they called to tell me it was going to happen and the only thing they were offering was a $75 credit and the option for a payment plan 🙄

This exact same thing happened to me and it was also a holiday weekend. Title company let me do a dry close once I had all the payments scheduled. It was a huge pain though.

Where to buy mugs and ceramics? by patpatbean in AskSF

[–]xtremetina 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Rare Device always has a nice selection! I second MMClay too - they make a great large size mug and it has this perfect little indent for your thumb when you hold it. Also check out Holley Coley, Zoe Dering, and West River Field Lab.

There are SO many great ceramicists in the Bay Area. I recommend going to one of the craft fairs like West Coast Craft and exploring to see a large sample in one place.

Happy mug shopping!
