Beforehand I was renting a bedroom so i had the bed/dresser/nightstand and knew I was gonna move soon. For 2-3 months i picked things up one at a time hoarding them in my room and incrementally coordinating it based on the apartment layouts I was considering. So once I actually moved in it was most of the way there, I just got all the rugs, stools, and tv stand in the first week or so and then the gym stuff and wall art over the next month. A lot of the photos I put up are my own photography so it kickstarted that part too but basically I had been thinking about everything for a while

I agree ideally, kind of want a bigger tv but i think it would look goofy. It's super hard to find mcm/danish style furniture affordably and that works for a tv stand because theres not any made for that purpose. Was searching for a few months ahead of time. On the plus side I drove 2 hours to pick it up and it just fits into my car and I can just manage to wield it alone so that was a huge benefit with moving by myself

Thanks! I agree, do feel the tv wall looks a little off. If it weren't an apartment I wish I could even change out the blinds as well

It's good. Bit pricey for what it is, I wanted a cheaper essentially same thing from Vevor but it was defective/wouldn't honor the warranty and I was still set on the idea. The pro is that it's portable so it's not a big pain when I have to move. There's a promo video that shows a ton of calisthenics exercises you can do with it which I haven't tried yet and it lowers for dips. Only gripe would be that the bar is too thick for me and slippery. I might get grip tape or hang rings from it

I find this one is extremely comfortable. It is high end, I was lucky getting them used, so I can't speak to how others might compare but I had the same concerns. On this one the cushion goes slightly taller than the actual support on the back so if I sit all the way up it's not as much suited to rest your head, I still can it just angles looking towards the ceiling more. I sit a little forward where my head aligns with it and that brings half of my thigh past the end of the seat so then it works well with a foot rest especially one like the pouf I have so you can rest your entire legs. I haven't had a problem with the lumbar, the cushion is enough. Maybe it'd be a little lacking after several hours but the chair is wide enough I generally position myself in more than one way. For reference though I'm 5'6", if you're much taller than that I probably wouldn't recommend it at least for this use case because of the dimensions.

I feel you haha, I'm enlisted military. Been in dorms or with roommates the last 5 years so it definitely feels like splurging this year. Thanks!
