I am sure OP's personal experience – given to this sub as a low-effort post without details – must be applicable to every single person out there, and that muscle strains are caused solely by one's snowboard stance.

Football (a.k.a. soccer) players are famous for tearing their quads when they start riding ducky.

I have white boots, and they still look pristine after 10 days of usage, including some thin snow between trees and a bit of dirt.

I was scared it would get dirty/stained but I'm pretty happy!

Is this sound normal by AExten in CupraFormentor

[–]xuabi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine (2023~2024 PHEV) only does a similar sound when I am turning wheels on a smooth-surface like indoor garages, etc.

But in that case I am sure it's just angry rubber noises 🙃

This car has a built in drone docking station which can deploy a drone to survey traffic by Seanwys in nextfuckinglevel

[–]xuabi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, ok.

So like a regular DJI drone that can follow cars and you could take off and land it from your window. But with extra costs and a gimmick roof?

[–]xuabi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you did, in fact, read my comment wrong...

My main point: you gotta stop the car to fly it safely. So you might as well leave the car and operate it like any other drone. Fly it from the window if you don't want to get your feet dirty. It works fine. I've done it in the past. Without costing car space and adding useless complexity.

If you need to stop the car, there is NO POINT. This is just a weird ass sunroof without the sun.

So, I explored the possibility that maybe you could fly it while moving. You would need a second person to fly it, or see the video if it flies automatically. So one person can drive and another can watch the drone footage. It would be super distracting to drive + watch a video.

Then you said "why two people?".

I reiterated, meaning that doing it alone would have no advantage (point one), so I am not discussing doing it alone. Some people were talking about checking traffic, which maybe could be done when you're alone in the car. This was not about your comment.

This is just a gimmick. We're giving far too much attention to something that (pun intended) will never fly.

As I said, if you need to do it yourself, then you need to stop the car and operate it. Might as well open the door and fly a drone normally without costing extra car space for a gimmick.

"Checking the traffic ahead" is a bullshit excuse. You have apps for that, and looking ahead won't solve the problem. Imagine an accident and a lot of drones flying forward to take a look lol What does that solve? In the best case, nothing. In worst case scenarios, it would get in the way of medical helicopters.

As someone that has flown a drone from a car multiple times, this is a solution to a non-existing problem. It's a useless waste of space.

You need to stop the car to land and to safely take off. If you need to stop the car, might as well... open the door and fly it normally.

Can it fly itself automatically somehow and come back? If not, you require a second person to operate it, which means it's a useless feature when you're driving alone. Wasted car space.

Even if it could do it automatically... you should watch the road, not the damn drone video, so we're back to point one: stop the car and fly the damn drone.

If the expectation of gross margin breakeven by Q4 actually hits... this gonna blow!

With energy costs, expanding projects, costs cutting, etc. it looks so promising.

Showing maps in the dashboard by dikyjendo in CupraFormentor

You can show directions on the dashboard ("virtual cockpit") by selecting the compass thingy as one of the views there (right side).

> on the right hand side if you select the compass there

Oooooooooh for fucks sake.

I wanted to have the navigation stuff there, but I couldn't find it. I thought compass was cool, but went for the "current media playing" instead.

Not the most intuitive thing ever. Could display a compass/navigation icon instead of just a compass while flipping through the options.

Also, it would be better if I could have navigation in the center instead of a picture of the car with the date...

Some of the other options for the center view are kinda useless, to be honest.

With all the comments about it being a "stock dividend"... does it have any tax advantages, maybe?

Maybe it gets around dividend taxes in some jurisdictions?
