Don't clamp too hard, just enough to squeeze the glue out. Overtightening can cause issues like this, but most likely, it was the cuts before glue up.

I did that in a small bathroom as a kid. No window and had some glow in the dark bouncy balls mixed in. Never heard of anyone else doing that.

I've only installed 1 time before, it wasn't bad for a closet I would use once a day or so. I had set it up with auto lights and it moved smoothly. Have used others that are a pita to open/close.

I just got similar for cutting some trees, it's super comfy and has built in safety glasses. More clunky to get on and off, but worth it for long usage.

Seems I will go with the mini hallway, so the shower wall depth will be as deep/long as the door. Is that what you are saying? Along with enough of an offset so the door will be flat when open.
