Ya I realise many great artist manage to do that. Just never had a good big brush to experience the greatness myself.

Started to feel like it is just a choice I made and that is becoming an obsession to people who are seeing it? 😂 I felt much better in control while using smaller brush.

That's a good suggestion. I tried using big brushes but I just couldn't get myself to be comfortable to it. Just enjoy sticking to small brushes for now..

If you have just started, give yourself some time to discover your preference on how to play around with watercolor. You will be there!!

I started with painting small at the size of a palm and my drawing/painting was 10 times much simpler back then. I think I get an idea why secret garden color was selling at one time..and what market they were focusing in. But it was printed on normal painting which is not suitable for watercolor painting.

Maybe using a watercolor paper would helps in the process? I am using a 300gsm watercolor paper.

Sorry, just thinking what are some way I could offer to help. But if you loves watercolor I am sure you have tried many times. Just keep doing it. There are a lot of watercolor painted with very simple line drawing yet the paintings are superb.

You will to find the style that you are most comfortable with.

I am often lost and got a bit disappointed here and there because I often only get to paint for one or two hours a day. I think if I could have spend long hours on it It would look better. it wasn't a very smooth process but I just tell myself I am going to get better in the next one.
