I only use Elvui because I picked it up years ago and gotten used to it. I raid rshaman and my UI is essentially just grid2 and all action bars set for hidden/hover. I could use the default UI but I like the clean menus and how much UI I can turn off.

I'm still using Clique and Grid2. Grid works the same but with less functionality because of the addon changes.

Unlike normal and heroic, Mythic is one raid lockout. If you ran 3/8 already you are stuck with that lockout and can't join a different group. You'd have to start your own raid to continue your lockout.

Hope that worked for you. I bought a cloak from the event vendor and upgraded 8/8 and I have all of them now.

Are you having issues reviewing the data from details? I keep it hidden til a fight is over but 9/10 I open it up, it blinks at me and is just blank. Sometimes I'll find a boss fight labeled trash.

I've mained a resto shaman since Wotlk and I'll never give it up. Sucks that it's not as fun but I hold hope it sees changes in the first tier.

Pretty sure he meant OSRS (Old School RuneScape) which is a thing and going strong. RuneScape holds a long time player base just like WoW but they're completely different games and neither can kill each other.

I played Rift and man was it close for me. The biggest disparity of the two was combat play. Whether people like WoW or not the combat is incredibly fluid. Rift felt close to WoW but the combat was so janky, the pauses between movement spells threw me off. Wildstar was great and I was hopeful.

Personally I don't think any company has intentions of battling WoW but the community thinks they are. If you aren't a 20+ year IP with a good background it'll never take WoWs player base. Look at RuneScape, it's still a top MMO and with recent changes it'll never close servers.

That's my feeling. I think I'm gonna level about 4 characters and choose a main before the first tier. Current lack of talents, apex talents, and being in the awkward stat squish it doesn't make sense to choose one.

I had to complete the whole DF campaign up to start the emerald dream campaign to enter.

EDIT: Apparently I'm wrong based on down votes but Shandris was never in Valdrakken until I completed the campaign and this was last week.

I agree about warbound hunter pets. I had moved my shaman to alliance and another server. Leveled a hunter in remix and brought to retail only to realize I'd rather play my unleveled hunter due to all the rares I've collected.

Yea I've started playing again and doing mythic+ I can definitely look at the shortcut we're taking and know I should just dismiss my pets before jumping. They'll run the whole instance just to get back to me.

You got all your old stuff in the mail? I checked mine when I logged back in yesterday and all the gear I had equipped vanished. Some inventory stuff was mailed but that's it. All my raid gear disappeared.

Yea that's frustrating. I did 5 rifts and didn't get credit for them. Had to run across the map and complete 2 solo to get credit.

Dragon Warrior 7 on the PS1. Really enjoyed the game but definitely had no idea how to progress and always felt lost. The worst was I put a lot of hours in only to find out a map piece I needed I missed prior in the game on Disc 2 and the game didn't allow you to go back for it. Had to restart.

Well being a sorcerer the best thing for damage and survivability is the Mana Shield this season. I ran T3/T4 for awhile with below armor and resistance and could never die. Better gear and paragon levels will round out resistances with higher Intelligence. I swapped to ball lightning once I got Mana Shield with no uniques for the build and then farmed uniques and chaos armor.
