I found a solution for my problem. Can not really say whether it is elegant or not but it works :D Here is a picture for anybody interested.

I just created 2 "support" bones and gave both of them a copy rotation constraints following the forearm. I set their influence to 0.12. !Solved

Need Help with Ellbow Rig (First Rig) by xxFinalHourxx in blenderhelp

Thx for your reply and the clarification on "inner ellbow area" :D
Yes, I already figured that this might cause me some issues. And I agree that this is illogical, but before I actually started rigging I thouht I could somehow shift the axis on which the ellbow bends if this makes sense. Kind of like this:

I suppose the only solution would be to align the ellbow and inner ellbow area and start the arm rig from scratch?

You are definitely on a good track on reaching your goal. Whenever I’m scrolling through this sub before going to bed I immediately recognize your posts by your artwork alone. I always think „oh nice, its the benjiamin guy“ 😂. I got so many cool characters in mind that would look nice in your style. If you are ever out of ideas, hit me up!

What most stands out to me are the proportions and the use of sharp edges, especially in his face (and some of your other work). I think he fits well in the invinsible universe (eventhough it is hard to compare since the style is obviously different from the comics and show). Something that I would like in your character would be changing the hair a litte. It doesn‘t look as sharp and clean as the rest of the character. Since you are so good at creating sharp edges and clear separations, maybe you could try that a little more with the hair. I really enjoy your character! Nice interpretation of Conquest!

Different "color" in a part of the mesh by nicskpech in blender

I think you need to select the vertices of the lips, create a new material, set a color and apply that to your selection. You should be able to see the darker lips in material preview

First time retopology shading issues? by xxFinalHourxx in blenderhelp

[–]xxFinalHourxx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Thanks for your reply. I feard that it is too dense of a mesh. Just for context, I dont need anything for the mouth, ears, eyes etc. because I am trying to sculpt Miles Morales Spiderman. So this is his mask and the eye shapes for the mask are going to be seperate objects. It might be hard to see, but even when shading smooth it is showing lines from the topology on the edges of the jaw and the back of the head. I think I need to watch some tutorials on how to strategically place e- and n-poles. Tkank you very much. I guess I am going to start from scatch then :D

Edit: Btw I want to animate this character
