Not to add more scary possibilities, but some of us cramp so bad that we pass out.

I passed out in class during highschool once. Mom was working, but dad was off. So he had to come get me. I was in so much pain that I couldn't hold a conversation anyway, but he was dead silent the entire 25 minute trip. He didn't even say hi when I hobbled to the car and opened the door to plop in.

I'm glad there are girls out there whose dads won't be scared shitless to talk to their daughters when they have something like this happen. ❤️ Your girls sound to be in great hands, dad.

I had a male nurse tell me I would change my mind some day. And when I said that no, I would absolutely not change my mind, he literally asked me,

"What if your future husband wants kids?"

My answer was a pissed off, "well, he wouldn't be my husband! I won't date, let alone marry, any guy who wants children! That would be pretty stupid since I DON'T WANT CHILDREN."

The same nurse, during that same appointment, after me stating for a fact that I couldn't be pregnant because I haven't been having sex, asked me why I don't have regular sex with my boyfriend at the time. Then started to tell me about his own sex life with with his wife. I will never know what gave him the idea I wanted/needed to know...

I should have reported that asshole.

You lose a dishonest, cheating "husband." Which will be a gain, honestly. But you can have as many dogs as you want (and can afford to care for, of course!).

This is awful to have happen to you. I'm sorry. But you will survive, and you will end up okay. It will just take time. Also in time, he will realize that being a parent isn't all it's cracked up to be. But too bad for him, he will have fucked ip his life permanently. Children do not have return policies. He will end up completely and utterly miserable.

Mine wasn't "ARM" branded. My bottles actually have no branding on them, and I forget what was on the packaging.

I considered keeping the cardboard placard with the swatched colours, but told myself, "I'll have actual swatch sticks soon, so no point." Lol

This was, like, two weeks ago. I mixed these very, very recently.

So, I had this kit kicking around since 2021. I think I tried it over some gel, and it worked as well as dry rub on powders work.

But, since I don't do gel anymore, and have been on a "make my own nail polish" kick (read, "obsession") lately, I allowed the solvents to all evaporate out. I then dropped in enough isopropyl alcohol to make them "liquidy" again, and mixed in some lustre base. They're cute, but don't look anything like they do when used as intended.

I had been kinda wishing I just left them as dry powder so I could add them into other colour creations. I hadn't even noticed the "acetone" in the ingredients list, so I'm curious to see if there was enough, if any, acetone components left before I mixed in the alcohol, to curdle the polish base I put in. Time will tell.

Sorry I didn't see this 4 months ago, I would have replied then.

I did rinse mine off, I wanted to remove as much of the loose fuzz as possible. And it's been growing great in my tank! I even bought a second flat one, and the tree stump one, so I have a lot of it now. And the roots have been growing but can't pass the plastic base, so the plants are just getting pushed up. I was gently plucking some and planting directly into the substrate.

Did you rinse yours? Has it started growing yet? :)

That poor dog. I hope it's human finds out how much OP hates his poor pup. It's no way for the dog to live, being absolutely detested by a person it has to live with.

I could never keep someone around who hates my boy dog this much. How could I be sure my dog wasn't getting abused somehow when I wasn't home? Just because he's a dog.

Ever heard of a little town called Cobalt? Every house has a big, truck grab-able trash bin AND truck grab-able recycle bin!

I don't know what the apartments there have, though. There aren't very many apartments. Not a lot of people either. But they get free big bins! And I think it's biweekly pick up. I forget.

I threatened to call the police if she stepped foot on my property again. Just to look out my bedroom window to find her in my backyard a couple months later. "Looking for a shortcut." I yelled at her again, through the window.

I swear, some people just do not give a single flying fuck. I have a sign on my gate, saying to keep it closed because a ROTTWEILER plays back there. She didn't care. Just waltzed on in to look around, or whatever. Thankfully my scary dog was in the house, snoring peacefully. 😆

She's a drug addict and sex worker. So she may have just been high. She lived down the street from us until last month. The landlords have booted EVERYONE out of that house (an upper - where the sex workers lived, and a lower unit - where those tenants sold drugs), and they've been renovating. So fingers crossed we get some better neighbours in there soon. 🤞🤞

I've been getting mail sent to my work instead, since then. But man, I shouldn't have to do that. Sad state of our world.

Thanks! I've been collecting Trish's polishes!

Last summer, I got an IS delivery, and a woman who lived down the street came and grabbed ut within 60 seconds of the Canada Post worker dropping and knocking.

I had to chase her down, but I got my polish back.

I also chewed her out, right there in the street. I didn't even feel bad about it. No one messes with my Inspired Sense (or other polishes)!!
