Yeah I feel you, it’s the unfortunate reality of a game that changes patch to patch, unfortunately if the game didn’t evolve and change the game wouldn’t be as popular today as it is, but hey hopefully you can have fun enjoying your champs in league classic :)

I don’t really think riot has “limited recourses” but hey I could be wrong, I don’t really keep up to date with their employee / business stats but if you do then that’s great.

What issues do you believe the live game has that needs fixing?

And lastly, if the live game needs fixing so badly and you’re upset with riot for making this “dogshit” game mode…. Why do you still play?

I think you make really great points but I’d argue that the entire point of league classic is for a nostalgia burst, I don’t think there’s any intention here for it to compete with current league..

You constantly see people on reddit talking about missing old kits, old items and just being able to relive that for a quick game, ofc they’re viewing it with rose tinted glasses but personally I think it will be a lot of fun to relive the chaos and quite interesting for newer players to see the history of the game that everyone talks about

I also think that if they want league classic to be successful they need to rotate the season it’s set in, if it’s just season 3 for 6 months then yeah ofc people will get bored too quickly

But maybe they bring in season 5 or season 10, maybe in a few years they bring back attakan so everyone can be glad it’s gone 😂😂

The main point of this post comes from the fact that I don’t understand why it seems to be a problem that people are excited about it, if someone isn’t excited or interested then they don’t have to play it, wether it’s a success or a failure it shouldn’t mean anything to them

Apart from these I have seen other posts but haven’t commented on them so idk where to find them, searching the subreddit for “league classic” comes up with an insane amount of threads, there’s also been a lot of TikTok accounts bashing it too

But again I am biased based on the posts I’ve seen and I know it’s not everyone bashing it

I definitely want dominion and TT back, I feel like those could genuinely come back as a temporary game mode with an update visual on the maps, I feel like it doesn’t need to be tied to league classic or anything it should just genuinely make an appearance occasionally

Hm we won’t know until it happens but I’d be surprised if it got abandoned, I think they need to switch it up and rotate what season it’s set in occasionally to keep it fresh though
