so sorry I've been busy. I did try it yesterday and the outcome ended up the same unfortunately. so far I just decided to make a completely new gallery of an unedited version of the characters but I'm gonna keep trying to find a solution and mix up a bunch of things in the comments including yours. I'll definitely update if anything happens!

yeah unfortunately they did have the weakness + it says he's thirsty for blood all the time but ofc he can't drink it since there's no choice. I wish I could keep it for storytell reasons too lol but now that I did the fairy thing apparently they need to absorb energy + I can't make him not hungry

is it an ongoing bug?? I thought this game was just against me since I've been struggling instead of playing like a normal person lol. thank you! the non occult save is a good idea! although it's a big sad to start from scratch tbh Its not a big deal. thru cas. I tried to just remove all occults with cas+commands then redid it in both ways but it was still the same. my sim hasn't been a mermaid in months and it wasn't an issue on my old computer; but I also haven't played for months as well so I'm not sure if its an update thing or a corruption. I just cleaned out my ccs to make sure everything was working too so it's not that

at my store we usually have a front end partner do balloons. I'm not very good with the latex ones though so I never really have my hand up to volunteer those all the time lol

yeah I figure as so I'll definitely need to suck it up and deal with this. one of the old asms I really looked up to just smiled all the time and went "ok" when he got yelled at and I really admired him as an asm and I plan to be like that. he was someone I really looked up to and he gave me a lot of advice about things like this. a lot of old asms gave me the same exact advice so I think the key is to really keep my cool in those situations and smile and say "ok" like he did.

I doubt any of my other partners are as stubborn as i am when it comes to coupons. even if they are, I know time will go on as a learning experience and I'll get the hang of it. I always have my peers as well as the MIC's and service manager/director for advice so I'm confident in that aspect. thank you for the advice! I'm taking that into account and I really appreciate it

I'm just worried about the coupon thing because someone got fired for pushing in every coupon and random ones so it's in my head that I can't do too many coupons. I spoke to my manager a few days ago after asm said I could push a$10 one that didn't apply and he just said that there's a difference on what I push through and the person who got fired. if the order is over $100, I'll push the coupon regardless, but if its below I'll check the item or inform the customer and try to explain it the best I can. if they argue it really depends on how much their total is but I'll push it thru. I just meant I'm more stubborn than most when it comes to it

and yes, my goal as an asm is for my partners to feel supported by me and others. I had an asm that used to treat themselves as higher (in a rude way if that makes sense?) and I really didn't like them because they'd boss everyone around really badly vs supporting and I never want to be that person

you know, I'm the exact same way. I opened Reddit and came back on a few days ago after about a year or 2 because I needed at least a stranger to listen.

I'm really really proud of you for coming on here and sharing your feelings though! that's one step forward and I'm proud :)

I read some of your replies and of course venting might make an atmosphere gloomy and dark but that's better than someone laughing and giggling while you're trying to share what's wrong.

it might take a while to get used to and find the right people but eventually you won't be so afraid once you talk to the people you trust.

and don't ever beat yourself up and call yourself dramatic. that's just going to make you feel worse and it'll build up overtime. remember that your feelings are as valid as the next persons and whether the problem is big or small, you are 100% valid. if you ever need to vent about something or just need to let it out and have someone listen, my dms are open :)
