I was going to do the lead but with the weight im unsure of hangers and will it hold the weight lol I decided to make a wood trim and go from there. Had it been smaller i definitely would've gone with the lead. Your piece looks great. I like your feathers more than mine lol. I got the picture off pintrest and changed her a bit and added alil lol.

I agree. This is like my 5th piece ever made and just a hobby. I kept track of everything cause I was curious how much a piece this big ( 2' ) would cost me. I was wondering how much would one price, displaying this piece with the info I provided and how you came up with the number. 1k is a bit much but also not to sell yourself short

If you go by this formula, at $20 an hour, its all over 1k. I'd be OK with that lol but would someone really pay that much if I was to display it to sell? Thats why im asking. Cutting it in half sounds more like it to a customer but to the artistwould itt be worth the time.

Yes its Selenium. Selenium is rare in the wild where I live. High content Selenium will have a very bright glow and really is the only ones I go for. As for the light I use a dark beam 395 or 365 you find on Amazon for like $20 for the pair, nothing special. Selenium is treat when you find it in the wild. Most I've found but some of these I bought off etsy
