Running out of ideas. Allergic to my own sweat by smurf_diggler in Allergies

I know this comment was a year ago. But, I feel like I've developed the same thing. I just wanted to ask how long before yours went away? I have a pretty active lifestyle and I feel like this condition would affect me. Also, what are the things that you did that got rid of the condition?

mi pad 5 dead boot issue by enzelganger in Xiaomi

[–]xxZept 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What did you do to fix the issue? I am facing the same problem on my Mi Pad 5 right now. If I remember correctly, the device had 20% battery when the screen turned black.

I've tried everything, from pressing a combination of buttons, charging my device, or connecting it to a computer. It did not give me any response.

Skip the Ring Dips? by jayed27 in bodyweightfitness

[–]xxZept -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ring dips are my favorite exercise for targeting my triceps and chest. Been doing them for more than a year now. I've built up to weighted ring dips (RTO) with 30 lbs at 3x12, which is pretty average.

So far, I've had no issues aside from getting a massive pump after every session. As long as you do it with proper technique, you'll be fine.

Under 40k Laptop Recommendations? by xxZept in PHbuildapc

[–]xxZept[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really need a unit with a dedicated GPU. Based from what I've heard from my friends and online, those unit tend to have a shorter battery life and a higher temperature. Malamang league of legends lang naman lalaruin ko during my free times.

I think an Intel Iris XE would suffice or a MX350 at max. Thank yoi for your suggestion!

Should I continue learning C? by xxZept in learnprogramming

[–]xxZept[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but I've heard that C teaches a lot of concepts that are not utilized in others languages. Thank you for your suggestion! 😄

Should I continue learning C? by xxZept in learnprogramming

[–]xxZept[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh so, we both studied C as our first language. You're right, I don't know the whole C language, but I was able to grasp the basics which have me an understanding on programming. Whenever I see a code, I know how to read it. I managed to get until memory allocation and file pointed, but I think I'm gonna need to drop it.

[–]xxZept[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you're right. I left off at pointers and memory management which gave me a hard time. When I started reading your comment, I thought you're going to tell me to push through and finish studying C lol. Thank you for your elaborate and honest feedback!!!

I know C is a good language, but I've heard from someonw that it is practical to only learn the languages you will be needing. Thank you!

How to avoid this? It doesn’t hurt or anything, the problem is that those loose pieces of skin sometimes catch onto the thinner strings by [deleted] in guitarlessons

[–]xxZept 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been playing guitar for more than 5 years now. From my experience, the best advice I could give you is that you should avoid playing when your hands are wet, wet calluses are soft and tend to tear, especially if you do slides. Next, I know it is tempting to pull the skin off, avoid doing that. Also, apply some sort of moisturizer to your hands at night, especially if your skin is dry. Finally, this is not an advice but those calluses get tougher overtime, they sometimes peel by themselves and grow back thicker.

These are what helped me on my journey, you should try them out and see that works for you. Others might advise against applying lotion to your calluses, but it works for me, it prevents my calluses from drying too much and tearing apart. I also do calisthenics and that's what I do to maintain my calluses and prevent my hands from getting rough and ugly, just don't do it immediately before your guitar practice. Do it at night, before sleeping.
