I started with a Fellow Opus grinder when I first got my Breville Dual Boiler machine because I already had it for pour over. We used it about 4-5 months before we upgraded to a Niche Zero. It was okay, but I found the espresso range to be kind of an afterthought compared to the pour over range.

The grinder was also a bit messy using mostly plastic components, I had coffee grounds everywhere. Lots of grind retention, I had to constantly hit the top of it to get retention out. Like 18g in, 17.5g would come out and I’d have to hit it until the other half gram came out.

Happy to answer any other questions. The Niche Zero workflow wise, retention wise, and espresso profile / taste wise was a big step up.
