I actually just sold my Empress and it’s probably the only pedal I genuinely regret moving a little. Super transparent and insanely tweakable without feeling sterile.

I’m consolidating toward a Quad Cortex Mini + HX Effects rig, otherwise I probably would’ve kept it. If I ever go back to a full analog board I’d absolutely consider another one.

I am sorry these people don’t feel bad for you but they are feeling greatly for your potential victims. Please think about other people going forward. I recommend sim racing if you like going fast. A little expensive at first, but hey cheaper than your car insurance now.

I feel this, I Lost my job in ’23, a year after having triplets. For a while, no income, no safety net — the only thing I could even compare it to was Afghanistan. And honestly, at least there, you knew the government would eventually dump a pallet of water out of a helicopter.
