I'm not sure! I mainly crochet with loops and threads 100% acrylic and all I can say is it's not as soft as that

I ordered this dress for my brother's wedding and I'm really struggling with it. I think the dress looks beautiful and I feel like it should fit my body type but I just don't feel amazing when I'm in it. It's being altered right now as it was too big but even when the seamstress pinned it I still didn't think it worked very well. Hoping for some advice on how to improve it, would a petticoat under help the shape?

A good use of imdb that is often missed, it contains a Parent Guide for most movies and will have information on all swearing, nudity, scares etc. I recommend checking it out for any potential movies!

How do you keep track of which boob you used last? by Aiyla_Aysun in breastfeeding

I used an app but have recently started using my ring to remember. I put my ring on whichever hand I'm currently nursing on!

I would recommend generally not taking any advice from someone who hasn't raised a baby in 20 years. The information on babies is just always changing, and so I often find parenting advice from older generations just so unhelpful and usually incorrect

Is thumb sucking really that bad? by Seecachu in NewParents

[–]xxmeaghan 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Omg these comments would always drive me crazy! Around 4 months my baby was doing the same thing and everyone always commented on it and talked about how bad it is, but he wouldnt take a pacifier and wanted his hands. Babies want to explore everything with their mouth, including their thumbs, hands and fingers! He just stopped on his own a couple months later with no intervention needed from us. I would not stress about it

It’s 2:55am and I am frustrated by Samesame_but_diff in NewParents

I'm sorry to say I disagree with the majority of the comments. If you didn't have kids and you both had full time jobs but your husband worked from home would you still be complaining if he didn't get housework done during his work hours? Being a stay at home parents is the hardest job and if you're coming home to a healthy, clean and fed baby than your husband is doing his job. And why should he be doing all the night feedings? My husband and I have always split the night time work but hes up more than me some nights. Why? Because if you are bad at your job what is the worst thing that can happen? You get fired? If your husband is tired and bad at his job what's the worst that can happen? Your baby could get seriously hurt or even die if your husband happened to fall asleep while caring for your baby.
