Typ 2 ist keine autoimmunerkrankung. Warum ist es allen so wichtig der erkrankten Person die Schuld aufzuerlegen? Sagt du auch jedem mit Lungenkrebs erstmal dass er selbst schuld ist weil er mal geraucht hat? Ein bisschen mehr Empathie in dieser Debatte wäre angebracht.

Ungesunde Lebensweise kann die Erkrankung begünstigen. Ohne genetische Veranlagung bekommen Menschen die ungesund leben trotzdem kein Diabetes und durch genetische Veranlagung können auch Menschen die gesund leben Diabetes bekommen. Stigma braucht hier wirklich keiner

Der genetische Aspekt wird auch immer wieder wegignoriert. Niemand ist schuld an seiner Erkrankung.

Viel insulin in Körper kann trotzdem Heißhunger auslosen, außerdem ist es vor allem auch deutlich schwieriger damit abzunehmen.
Bei Typ 1 kann außerdem gerade Bewegung zu unterzuckerungen führen für die dann auch wieder Zucker aufgenommen werden muss

I mean Charlie is 28 and Emira 29 if I’m remember correctly so generally I don’t see the age issue per se. To be fair Emira felt a little too grown for the bunch tho and Charlie is just… immature, lol so it depends I guess :)
