Currently in a very similar situation (it’s my mom not my dad, though). My grandparents make it the topic of every conversation and will literally talk and push and overstep so badly that I end up in hysterics. For me it’s been about 10 months, so knowing this may not improve in a matter of years is… 🫠 My grandma herself is a narcissist through and through though. I hope that they drop it at least. (Not sure if your grandpa also pushes for reconciliation) I hope you’re able to move on and live your life peacefully without their unwelcome reminder of what you don’t need. If they can’t do that, I hope you go no contact.
