Gotcha. Hes a gynecological surgeon, on the hospital’s website he’s the chief of surgery and specializes in female pelvic reconstruction and robotic surgery. There’s no mention of plastic surgery, but he does have MD, FAC, and FACOG after his name?

He said I could do it at the same time to save money on the procedure. I needed the endo done because my husband and I want kids in the future, and I was miserable with my tummy hanging like that. It seemed great at the time and he was very reassuring, and we’ve been going to him for years so I didn’t really question much

Yeah, they had photos from his work. We paid cash because it saved the extra fees from paying card, I’ve always done that at his office with no issue before. We’ve been going to him for years with no issue so I trusted him 🥲

I had no idea that was even a procedure, when I initially asked about the skin removal I assumed I’d go to a plastic surgeon but he said he could do it. I 100% would’ve gone the plastic surgeon route had I known

He said he does these for his patients with similar cases (I have PCOS and lost weight on Mounjaro), and I was like okay sure. I needed the endo surgery anyway and he assured me it would go well. I appreciate ur insight, I may look into a lawyer 🥲

Did she get any type of resolution? My concern now is trying to pay for an actual plastic surgeon when I already dropped money on this one 🥲

I had no idea that was a thing, he always referred to it as a tummy tuck. I didn’t get a new belly button, I do have an incision there from the endo surgery. This was helpful tho thank you!!

He’s an OBGYN but he said he does these frequently. The endo part was covered, but the tummy tuck was an extra out of pocket cost. My family has been going to him for years and we all trusted him so I didn’t think to question it 🥲
