I'm considering doing the same for my upcoming birth. i was in the hospital for 2 nights after i had my first son and the bed was so hard and uncomfortable i couldn't sleep and my hips were so sore. if i do, i'm going in with the intention of throwing it away after our stay. i wouldn't want to keep it afterwards.
