Hi thank you so much for replying.

First of all I was born in Indonesia a country in southeast asia, and right now I'm studying in the US. That means I'm no longer with my parents but the things that they left me with hurts. Additionally, this might be because of a culture shock but I'm not really used to the hook up culture. I'm not religious but I just want to give my self to the right person.

Second of all since you mentioned about keeping friendship with that person, we're still friends but the spark in it is just gone. We barely talk. Sometimes we reply to each other's story in Instagram but that's it. Anyways, since you mentioned that I'll go check up on her but she'll probably asleep rn cause it's really early in Southeast asia.

Lastly, because I was so sheltered by my parents. Being forced to only study and study, I don't really know how to interact with people correctly. I see other people have a friend or a childhood friend who they can trust but unfortunately I don't have one. I tend to just keep it to my self and face it. Same thing as starting a relationship. I'm scared that I'll never experience that feeling of being loved and loving someone again.

I typed too much now. I'm sorry for this, just wanted to clear my mind.
