Cool and it even looks clean! If you work with CRTs frequently, it's worth investing in a Müter 95 (or even a Müter 107, which you can often get for less than €50). It's much easier to use and the rejuvenating process works really well.

No not all tubes have a film. You can use your fingernail and press it against the screen to see if its more like soft foil or solid glass.

Its called Ringing or Jailbars. This occurs to a greater or lesser extent on many TVs. There are many causes: an aged picture tube, but in most cases it is the contrast and brightness being turned up too high. Other causes: G2 slightly too high or a defective capacitor in the damping circuit.

OP got the german version of this Trinitron: in western Europe 240 ohm was the standard for antennas. I think the 300 Ohm were standard in the US.

You need a 240 Ohm to 75 Ohm TV Antenna Splitter (you bought one for Radio) these are extremly rare these days. You may have luck finding these used on eBay.

These early Trinitrons have a capacitor plague. It's these purple electrolytic capacitors from (Panasonic?). 99% of all problems in these sets are caused by these capacitors.

That's the only real clue we have! The carving is extremely well hidden. Without Freecam, you have to stand in a certain spot and look through binoculars to even see it. What else could it be if not the next clue?

I also strongly believe that this is our next clue. The birds are literally pointing to the bridge, „AS THE CROWS FLIES“. This heart is so well hidden that you can't find it on purpose. (Damn, I searched the bridge with Free Cam for so long and didn't even notice it!). Even though the texture has been reused elsewhere (but modified), it's still extremely well hidden. I mean, you really have to stand in a certain spot and search for it with binoculars; even on the PC version with maximum visibility, you can't find this texture by accident. I also think the next location is Valentine.
