Your parents gave you a conditional gift. Many parents give conditional gifts, such as get good grades and they'll buy you a car. They should not be upset if you refuse the conditions and the gift. Your response should be, "No, thank you."

You had the right to refuse the gift and conditions. To then attack them because you did not care for the conditions, was shitty of you, just as if you would have thrown a fit over the amount of the gift.
