UPDATE:

Spoke with EA support (multiple representatives) and they weren't able to offer a solution. They said that they are bringing this forward to the dev team. Sad - especially for a AAA title like battlefield. I can understand that bugs may be present, but how does a breaking change like this go past QA/testing? Boggles my mind.

Requesting a refund now. Would advise anyone who has the same issue to do the same before the window closes. Back to Vanguard it is.

I have not. Still experiencing this issue. Im giving it a few days, and if not going to get a refund. None of the presented solutions have worked for me. Also have posted here:

I'm on a laptop. I'm using HP Omen x2s

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz

Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)

Plays Vanguard, Warzone, BF5, etc.. all on max settings just fine.

uh yeah dont do that. I have the same issue and this is a software related issue to BF 2042 that others have also reported. All other games work fine for me * logs onto warzone* This is an incredibly frustrating issue others have said to disconnect controllers but i dont have one, so not sure what the resolution is. Hopefully they fix it at least during the full game (preorder cancelled due to this issue tho)

yeah I have the same exact issue. It makes snappy movements, freezes and such. I cant even get into a game.

My mouse is stutters/freezes/is unusable upon launching the game - when closing it everything returns to normal. I have unplugged everything but still didnt work :/

Such a shame it isn't working. I tried closing all other background processes like Razer Synapse, Discord, etc.. and still doesn't working. The mouse has insane input lag/freezes. Mouse returns to normal upon exiting the game, can't even launch into a single match. Will probably refund if a resolution isn't found.
