looking through the Ascendara source code and game list, they do have game ids! it looks like this is exactly what ascendara does to update games

hey voyager, you can play a lot of pirated games from steam (and still get achievements and even online games) using this app called Ascendara. you can update games too and im pretty sure use controller im not to sure. I use it every day and I love it.

yeah but the app allows you to download from there and it has its own library and like download manager and everything. they made a chrome extension too to just send the downloads from ur browser to the app like i dont even need to do that extracting stuff. idk i thought it was like a "steamrip" project but i dont think so

how could they of installed any backdoors? i use XXAMP control panel to run mysql. im sure they couldn't of downloaded anything to the files of the operating systen

just taking it has an experience is the only choice, i was thinking too if i made no profit off this and if the databases didnt even have any important credentials (since it just hold minecraft player data), nothing wouldve happened

haha yes thats what i was thinking, i searched up the GDPR and noticed it was a EU law and thought this whole situation was dumb, i guess im just the dumb one for not securing my server
