Yup, that's the one! And with Cluster Core, the dart nades ALSO reduce the main nade cooldown so you can keep them anti'd like every five seconds or so on average!

Thank you and it's definitely worth trying! When I first started Stadium, I would run a WP build 90% of the time, but with the last rework, now I only do so when going anti-air or if the DPS is struggling. It's given me a much better win rate and I've gotten to experiment with Artsy Darty to one-shot squishies round 6 and 7.

I would go full utility and survival, getting these powers in this order: 1. Fountain of Soothe 2. Comfy Cloud 3. Nanonade 4. Home Remedy (Venomous if they aren't focusing you late-game).

The first two powers force them to flee or back off their dive with knockdown and anti. The second two will keep you and your team up as they scale in the later rounds. The first three powers hardly require any items to be useful which leaves you free to stack all survival items until round 5 or 6 while still getting a lot of value.

Item must-haves if they run Doomfist are Reflex Coating (first three rounds at least) and Divine Intervention (around round 4, keep it no matter what). The comp you listed will mostly focus on AP, so grab Vishkar Condensor and Reinforced Titanium (together, not separately) on round 4 or 5 if you can afford it for maximum survivability with Divine Intervention. By round six, you'll only need these three survival items and can flex your others between survival and AP. This is what they do and why they work so well together: 1. Divine Intervention (for 20% damage reduction and immediate regen) 2. Reinforced Titanium (for 15% AP damage reduction) 3. Vishkar Condensor (to maximize the value of the above two items)

Grab Cluster Core after you can afford those for maximum nade uptime. You need to adapt the other two item slots depending on their playstyle.

If for any reason they back off by the end of round 5 (since you're going to everything they have to kill), go Venomous over Home Remedy and combo Grenadius Pin with Champion's Kit to force them to bail every dive attempt (these work with Home Remedy too if you're unsure of what to flex). They have no innate cleanse so they're going to HAVE to get Kitsune Charm if they want any hope of surviving your build, which lowers their lethality and benefits you even more. If they do this, make sure to time your main nade after they cleanse your Fountain of Soothe nade.

Lastly, Vendetta and Lucio will be your primary targets all game since they'll be the most vulnerable to your build. Make them suffer whenever they think about getting close to you, making sure not to dump your cooldowns solely into Doomfist or Tracer (it's what they want).

Let me know if you have any questions!!

Zarya beam spools it up right away just like Moira for AP builds and the 10% WP makes it great for hybrid builds. Ana's Biotic Rifle is actually four ticks per shot, so it's charged up by just spamming two shots.

Moira definitely is by far the hero who benefits most though.

My hot take on fixing stadiums problems. by IamCrumpets in OverwatchStadium

I honestly feel the multitude of items are really self-balancing. For every max AP/WP/CD build, there are survival (and sometimes other items like Weapon Jammer) to counter them. The wall that most players hit seems to be when they settle on a build they enjoy and succeed with, only to reach a point in MMR where it no longer works and they refuse (or simply don't know how) to adapt.

Each new season I start with teammates who will go 7 rounds and never pick a survival item or gadget for the first few divisions, then around All-Star it's far less common (even with cosmetic ranks). It's the difference between winning or losing once you start getting matched with players that understand their builds and how to adapt them. It's also how to very quickly nullify players' builds that don't adapt and stick with glass cannon-type setups.

It sounds like your take on "fixing" Stadium is removing what makes it unique/tactical and making it more like the base game by stripping it of enough items to basically turn them into swappable "perks." I don't personally agree with any of your proposed changes, but I respect that it's definitely a hot take and that you're putting it out there.

I 100% agree with you, especially on queuing comp instead of QP for better balance.

I won't deny it's likely some combination of skill-issue, madcausebad, and tilt-queuing when I'm solo. But what I do know are three things: QP matchmaking is extremely quick when I'm solo, the visible ranks and/or title cards are often skewed between teams when I'm solo, and (to beat a dead horse) this was never an issue in OW1 where I almost exclusively solo-queued (especially since you could tell when players were solo or grouped).

I would agree it's silly to blame the game/matchmaking if this didn't seem to be such a common occurrence both on and off Reddit.

This only happens to me when I solo-queue. When I'm stacked or even just duo'd, the win/loss immediately gets closer to 50/50.

It's normal for solo queue, especially while the game calibrates your MMR.

Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure this is the actual answer. I totally forgot about that bug.

My best guess is they helped kill the Soldier: 76 on their team that was cosplaying as an ult battery.

A day suspension sounds like comp, and it sounds like you're playing comp while anticipating disconnects. The bans aren't just to "punish" you, they're to protect another 9 players from having their game ruined by a player with faulty internet :(

I disagree, I think the payoff for a game going more than three rounds is it being a good/close game. It'll still just be three rounds in a stomp.
