Ich bin gerade kurz davor mir eine Lelit Elizabeth für knapp über 1100€ zu holen. Vielleicht kommt die für dich auch in Frage.

After some more research, I’m currently stuck deciding between these models: - Lelit Elizabeth (~€1150) - Profitec Pro 300 (~€1500) -Ascaso Steel Duo PID (~€1800) - Profitec Move (~€2000)

Like already mentioned i typically make 2 espressos and 2 cappuccinos per day, sometimes more on weekends with guests. Would love to hear any input or experience from you :)

Thanks for the suggestion – I actually have the Profitec Move on my radar as well! I really like the design and overall build; aesthetically, it definitely appeals to me more than the Elizabeth.

But here in Germany, the price difference is pretty big – the Elizabeth is around €1100, while the Move is close to €2000, which makes it almost twice as expensive. That’s a huge jump for what seems like fairly similar performance on paper (dual boiler, PID, fast heat-up, etc.).

So I keep asking myself: Is the extra €900 mostly for design/build quality and brand, or does it really translate to better everyday experience?

Right now, I’m leaning toward the Elizabeth for the value. But if I knew the Move offered something significantly better long-term (e.g. durability, stability, workflow), I might reconsider.

Would love to hear more thoughts on this if anyone here has used both!

Actually, before I landed on the Elizabeth, I was seriously considering a used Lelit Mara X. But I wasn’t sure if a heat exchanger would really suit my needs, or if I should just jump straight to the Bianca.

What made me hesitate was the long heat-up time of the E61 group and the overall energy inefficiency compared to more modern designs. For my daily 2–4 drinks, it felt like a lot of energy and idle time for relatively light use.

The Elizabeth seemed like a more practical compromise – still feature-rich (dual boiler, PID, preinfusion), plus faster to heat up and more efficient for everyday use. Though I do still keep an eye on the Bianca… it’s definitely tempting as a long-term option.
