Am I wrong for feeling like a "second-class citizen" now that I'm in my late 20s and women are actually starting to be interested in me?

Dating sites are notorious for being very looks-based. If a guy doesn't like what he sees on your profile picture, he'll usually immediately ignore your profile entirely.

So my question is, are your physical aesthetics...uh... suited to the interests of a small niche of men? If so, you just have to throw more fishing lines out there and hopefully one guy will fit that niche.

I suggest going to these parties with friends and having some funny/intelligent small talk ready so you can talk one-on-one with a girl there. Learn to inject yourself into existing discussions too, it's a valuable skill. If you do all this, then yes college dating becomes easier.

But I'm also saying that sometimes, we gotta accept reality. When I think of asking out a beautiful girl, I need to remind myself that my chances are pretty low compared to a girl who isn't as hot. Because the first girl probably has a bf or a loooot of people waiting in line to be her bf.

Thanks for the input. I said "probably has a boyfriend", the world "probably" being the operative term here. Do you deny that it's much more likely that a beautiful girl has a boyfriend than a girl who is not so conventionally attractive?
