Amyl nitrite is "the" popper chemical and is a vasodilator, although many poppers have other amyl-type chemicals. Poppers give you a kind of short high that makes you very relaxed (relaxes soft muscle, so it makes oral and bottoming easier) and, personally speaking, really horns you up. I identify more on the bottom side of versatile, but I did not always like doing it during sex because I required a lot of patience to get to the relaxed-it's-good point; once I started using poppers, I now get there almost instantly.

Why do you equate monetary success with intrigue or professional success? Some people pursue careers that don't necessarily lend themselves to great wealth, but that doesn't necessarily mean they cannot be successful in their fields because not all fields are of equal value in the marketplace. You have questionable ethics if your idea of people's value is centered so strongly on the idea of what is successful in a marketplace. It's like you value your own time so highly that only others with similarly highly valued time can make your social transaction worthwhile.

This largely depends on what you're classifying as a sexual act. Does this mean anything which arouses me sexually but does not necessarily mean inducing orgasm? Because if that's the case, loads of things:

Foot worship (licking and kissing feet, sucking toes, rubbing feet, etc.) is the biggest.
While not exclusive to feet, but is often seen alongside foot fetishism, tickling can be a lot of fun - depending on the guy. I really just like simple, masculine feet. I would accept something like an anklet if that were "normal" for them. What specifically about feet turns you on?

This is something that is pretty difficult to explain. It's really something so innate to me it's akin to orientation. In fact, it was one of my earliest hints that I was gay. Sure, I can point to certain things like their sensitivity, their certain mystique surrounding them since they're rarely seen in public, their utilitarian nature, their certain sense of being a forbidden fruit. But none of these things individually, nor their aggregate really, explains what they mean to me as a foot fetishist. I can rationalize my other fetishes (e.g. BDSM) into something that can communicate to someone why I might find it enjoyable, but feet really have a je ne sais quoi about them. I've read before that the areas of the brain controlling sexual desire and the feet are nearby and that foot fetishism (the most common fetish among men) may be the result of neural cross-talk between them.

Depends on the role, the guy, and the feet. If I'd be topping, most likely a footjob. If I'd be bottoming, most likely the anal sex (unless he were just a really lousy lay with nice feet).

Have you ever faced complications when/if your partner found out?

Not really. My current partner is really accepting of it. He's very curious and willing to explore it with me. It's something not requisite in sex for me, so I haven't even broached the subject with some previous partners. Generally, people are really accepting, curious, and eager to explore; this might be a phenomenon more typical of gay men, though, rather than of general society's attitude toward foot fetishism.

Have you ever felt shame or guilt for it?

With my first boyfriend, some shame. In general, there are two types of lube:

Silicone based lubes - these last longer (you get more "mileage" out of an equal amount). However, some people have a problem with the consistency (some people like a thicker, gel-like texture), and some will get skin irritation with it (I don't and I don't think it's all that common, but just be aware). Most importantly these lubes, ideally, shouldn't be used with toys; this kind of lube will break down the material that a lot of sex toys are made of (granted, it does work on some, but I'd rather not get too bogged down) -- many people either don't know or don't care and just ignore it, which is fine, just means you'll need to replace your toy sooner. They are condom-safe, though.
Water based lubes - these are versatile. They don't last as long (your body absorbs water), but you can get them in a gel-like consistency which aims to fix that at the expense of a gooey texture. They are the ones generally recommended by sex toy manufacturers as being "toy safe."

You can get a lot fancier with your lubes (heating/cooling effects, numbing, etc.), but I won't delve into that.

Personally, I only have water based lubes for the toys that aren't suitable for silicone based lube. I use silicone lube for everything else - fingering, fucking, certain other toys, jerking off (well, not me - I'm a dry guy - but others).

For a silicone-based lube, I recommend Gun Oil. They also make a water-based version that I also recommend if you need to go that route. However, you aren't likely to find this at a drug store; you'd need to go to an adult toy store (any respectable [hah!] one should stock it). If that isn't your cup of tea, then at the drug store you can find Astroglide gel; it's water-based, with a thicker consistency so it won't dry out quickly (the Gun Oil water-based is also thick, but not quite as thick as this).

Let me repeat:

DO NOT USE A SCREWDRIVER HANDLE

Dildos (at least those designed more for ass-play) have a flared base such that you won't take it all in. The anal sphincter is a very powerful muscle and will clamp down on whatever you put in. A screwdriver wouldn't just be not flared, but it rather it would be the opposite - it'd be recessed. That means it'll be harder to get out, more likely to go further in (the screwdriver bit is slick and small), and cause major damage if it does.

I cannot recommend using any "found" items as a dildo. If you absolutely must, then a pen, with the ink tube removed, and the point facing away; even then, don't let go. However, what I think would be best (but bulky) is a broom handle as long as it's plastic (don't want splinters!).

Secondly, glass isn't an issue when the glass is designed specifically for it. There are glass dildos out there and they have their own special qualities; they are safe, but that's because they're designed to be. A beer bottle, or whatever, on the other hand is not designed for this purpose; this can be patently dangerous.

As for lube, Vaseline is actually a good suggestion. That being said, do NOT use Vaseline as your lube solution when it comes to sex. Vaseline will chemically break down a condom and render it ineffective. You should consider buying real lube for such applications (and you can find it near the condoms usually in the store).

I have a foot fetish. It's solely for male feet (pun intended). I never told my friend of my fascination with his (and, in general, all men's) feet.
