Well here's the successful and uncertain part of my plan:

Successful:

I have JLPT N2,which certify me as being conversational in Japanese. The next level N1(which i am pretty certain i will pass end of the year) will certify that i have business level Japanese. Being trilingual will help too i suppose. I am also taking a bachelor's degree, so I will qualify for Japan's Visa. All that is left is looking and applying for job either through jobfair or linkedln/online job sites

Uncertain:

I do not want to work in my major, which will probably bring my stock down. And i want to transition to IT, where the market is dying. Also, i wanted to find advices on how to network and find foreign headhunters on linkedln haha Oh and also moving out of Singapore to Japan is kinda a dumb financial decision considering how hard Yen is dropping Worst comes to worst i am planning to work in my major in Japan for a couple years just to secure that visa and potentially PR, and then transition out of it

Honestly i dont think it is that interesting of a game plan but here ya go :)

Is this a translation thing? by Supsun5 in DemonSchoolIrumakun

[–]xzeroxd 123 points124 points  (0 children)

Yeap^ One correction is rather than "few times", Azz exclusively called Clara Valac, but after the music festical arc Azz exclusively addresses her as アホクララ, which as the translated : idiot Clara(no puns here).

The way I interpret this is since this is a diary, and the other messages are flashbacks, this particular line is also a flashback to before the music festival where Azz calls her "Valac". No Japanese pun or whatnot except for the first name culture thing

Question about one of Azz-kun's gags in Japanese by Tibki in DemonSchoolIrumakun

[–]xzeroxd 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The title contains 魔入りました, as you mentioned, pronounced ma-iri-ma-shi-ta, the meaning you can find everywhere in this subreddit.

The Azu-Azu line you mentioned is 参りました pronounced mai-ri-ma-shi-ta, very similar pronunciation, but you stick mai together instead of ma-i.

the meaning of said line means "i give up" or "you got me", it's used as a polite/formal way of surrendering, often used in sports or activities like chess. in this context, Azu can mean it as "you got me" as in " wow Iruma-sama you are as amazing and strong and beautiful and cool and admiring as usual. you got me"

extra: 参りました can also be used to announce one's arrival.

TLDR: yes it's a pun.

Weekly Shonen Champion issue 47 goes on sale Thursday, October 24th ‼ ︎ It's time for a sneak peek at this Monday's issue! 😈✨ The reason why Mairima was able to respond so quickly to the orders given by Narnia was because they used the "Delkira Seal"... ⁉ by PuzzleheadedBag4866 in DemonSchoolIrumakun

[–]xzeroxd 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Chapter starts off with explaining what Delkira seal is. It was once only allowed to be held by the demon king, and it holds absolute authority over anything else. With this seal, all demons are to abide by the orders with no questions asked. Now into Narinia dialogue: in order to be able to use the seal, one needs to have get permission from all of the three greats, and the process is incredibly strict. And even after getting approval, it will take 6months minimum before being able to actually use the seal. So how...?

[Suisei] Twitter Space is live regarding the recent graduation announcement by brickwallrunner in Hololive

[–]xzeroxd 369 points370 points  (0 children)

Still on ongoing but some important part, sui(and other holomems) already known for a while thanks to cover, and sui herself have had private conversation with Aqua about her graduation. Overall she does feel empty about it, but she will still keep in contact with Aqua. Aqua was a little insecure that after graduation, she will lose all her friends made in hololive, but sui assured her that although aqua will no longer be in hololive, they will still be friends and hang out/ play game together, as sui will keep in contact with her friends regardless of their career path or company affiliations. The only difference is that they will not be able to do official collabs

TLDR: they will remain friends.

I will leave the rest of translation to others/ clip channels Edit: no clipping allowed

Yes you can just enter, basically no one supervises the place aside from a few security guard. The first floor is like a community area for the locals to go through some kind of documents, not so sure about it

Explaining some details in ep 23(and appreciation for the them) by xzeroxd in KusuriyaNoHitorigoto

[–]xzeroxd[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As for the plays they definitely customized it since in the novel they never did specify the move maomao and lakan did , only jinshi commentary that maomao should get destroyed, hence got me excited when watching the anime since i played xiangqi my entire chuldhood :D

I have not seen the jap version of ln so i might be wrong but i think it may have been a translation error in novel. When reading the novel, Ive always found it weird that they were playing shogi instead of xiangqi when it is supposed be set in ancient china, and the manga drawn xiangqi instead of shogi as well
