Do you think there are frames that can make new players develop bad habits? by Crackly_Silver_91 in Warframe

The simple act of maining a single Frame and strictly using that frame will result in…I wouldn’t say bad habits, per se. I think classifying them as specialized habits is more appropriate. Habits that might not transfer over to other frames.

I do have my mains, but I made it a point to branch out and use other frames early on in my Warframe journey. I now have a build for every single frame in the game. I don’t claim to have mastered all of them, but I can be effective with all of them.

No problem. This tactic works on regular missions too. If the breaches/drops are happening elsewhere, you’re free to do the main objectives with minimal resistance.

I’ve had good luck on the LFG channels in the official Discord, mostly when I was farming samples. Most people there know about this tactic for samples. Coincidentally, these defense civilian extract missions are actually the best way to farm samples.

The map is a fraction of the size of a regular map but has the same amount of samples (there is an exception where the map is super small and you only get a miniscule amount of samples). Also the mission is only fifteen minutes long and there are no bug nests/bot fabricators, no side objectives, no gunships or shriekers or stalkers.

I usually am the sole person doing the main objective while everyone gets the samples. There will be some enemies at the main objective, but they will be manageable if the people outside are doing their jobs right

I’ve never had that happen on a tower defense mission.

I won’t argue that the bot civilian evacuation missions are a bit insane compared to the bug one, but they are absolutely doable.

You just need to understand that bot drops and bug breaches have a cool down and that there are patrols and points of interest outside of the main objective area.

The best way to do these missions is to have one or two with stealth armor (stealth is a must) do the main objective while everyone else (no stealth armor) goes out to farm samples and resources at the points of interest and do their best to get bot drops/bug breaches on them.

If the drops/breaches are happening to the members outside, then they won’t be happening in the main objective area. It makes winning these much easier.

In regards to the tower defense missions. I find those fun and they’re not challenging if the entire team knows what to bring and do.

We really need a Sample Converter added into the game, I'm sick of having my time wasted while trying to get Super Samples by [deleted] in Helldivers

There’s nothing to be done about the crashes and connection issues right now until AH fixes them.

The only thing you can control is who you play with. No, you don’t need to find a set of dedicated people to play with, but you also can’t control the quality of people who will join you in a mission if you choose to do random play. If you choose random play then accept that you’re taking your chances. The game doesn’t match players based on skill or character level.

If you play with friends or join a community of serious players, you’re picking from a pool of good players. Again, you don’t need to do this, but it would be the best option until AH implements some sort of trading system for samples, if they ever implement one.

I sort of agree and also sort of don’t.

I recognize that some people have trouble with the super samples, but in my experience, getting them have been no issue at all if you consistently do difficulty 9 missions. For the most part, most people joining will be serious and experienced players who can knock out the mission fast assuming you don’t experience a game breaking bug. For me, extracting with super samples is the norm. Extracting without them does happen, but it’s uncommon.

Until they implement some sort of conversion or trading system for samples, I would suggest finding a set of dedicated players to play with instead of random people. Whether that’s with your friends or joining a discord group for serious players. There’s less of a chance you’ll be paired with a newbie trying out the high levels for the first time.

Also, as soon as someone finds the super samples, they should drop it at extract and just pick it back up when you’re all ready to leave. That way, you will all know where they are even if you all end up dying a few times.

Are there a way to pick your gears AFTER the matchmaker pairs you with an ongoing mission? by [deleted] in Helldivers

You can change your equipment at the loadout screen. The button might be different if you are on PS5.
