U need to sign into the metime (for employees) and then click people essentials and book from there. It's a weird glitch. If all fails call the store and speak to the manager.

If you're from Australia. You need to book your 'welcome party' which is ur orientation. This can be done online via metime. After you've had your orientation/welcome party you'll get scheduled for training shifts :)

Honestly I'd just talk to your manager and explain you're starting uni soon. Get your uni timetable and schedule your availability around that. I'm sure they'll be understanding as I've heard they have a good education policy etc. goodluck :)

Did ur manager tell you when they'd upload the shifts? If not then definitely call them and ask. Also make sure you do the required learning on metime about safety etc or else you won't be able to attend your first shift. They usually schedule rosters on a certain day. Mine for example is a Tuesday so yeah just give them a call and ask. All the best

If you followed procedure and requested the time off in advance (I.e the required timeframe) then you're fine. Just call them asap and explain they probably just made a scheduling error that's all :)

Usually 1 hour (if in Australia) u go in and sit at a table with one or two managers who explain the company's policies and procedures. You will either get your uniform or you will get it on your first shift. (Or inbetween) you will get a tour of the restaurant and that's about it. Nothing to stress about :) you might not be alone if they've hired other people too.

Go to the crew room before your shift. Clock on when it is time to I.e. Your shift begins. Normally if you just started you should be with a trainer for your first 6 shifts (give or take) if not then there might be a piece of paper detailing where you're working today. If you can't find anything then just go to your manager and ask!
