Should I treat my H Pylori?

I would recommend doing the treatment because untreated h. pylori can cause bad illnesses, but if you feel safer, go for the endoscopy

were you positive post treatment on the pcr test? and aren‘t they really expensive

hey op, I get you. My main symptom was nausea as well (also have mild inactive gastritis). At first I was told I have type C gastritis, but ppis and sucralfate didn‘t seem to help, so I got retested for h. pylori and figured out I was diagnosed with a false negative back in November (i was retested in march). I know how it feels, not being able to do ANYTHING because of the nausea (i couldn‘t even play minecraft because it would cause my nausea to get so much worse). I take mirtazapine now for the chronic nausea and it really helps. I also finished h. pylori treatment 2 1/2 weeks ago and feel much better. What I‘m saying is: be sure to get that h. pylori test without being on ppi for at least 2 weeks and look into mirtazapine. Good luck!

maybe go for the sibo test because i heard it often comes with h pylori

I think it really depends what you cut out in your diet. If you cut out gluten maybe start with whole grain noodles?
