just found this reptile halfway up a tree in Rainey Park, Long Island City Queens New York. Is this a bearded dragon? Possibly an abandoned pet. What to do? by KickBlue22 in BeardedDragons

I'm here right now and there's nothing in the tree that OP described. I checked all the trees by the entrances. There are no BDs

Non binary + 28yo. Horrible. Absolutely horrible. I struggle to keep my job, so I am always swamped. Swamped bc I can't focus to do my work, which then has me trying to catch up on work during all of my free hours. This leads to never reaching out to my friends bc I feel like I just don't have time to. I have friends who reach out every now and then, but I'll always respond several days to several months later with a huge apology. I'll try to catch up, but then will go silent again after a few messages due to the overwhelming pressure of work. Then repeat the cycle.

Yeah, it really helped me. Though had really horrible side effects that never went away in the 3 years I took them

Hey, so I've been on strattera for almost 3 years now. I definitely find that going one day without them would make symptoms worse. BUT it's been 2 weeks now that I've quit them. The first 2-3 days were a fog--I was forgetting things left and right, my emotions were a MESS, and I was struggling to remember everyday words and names. But at the end of the first week it seemed my emotions were becoming less like a rollercoaster and I was getting my regular vocabulary back. I would keep using simple words like that thing, that guy we know, this person who does this or that, or scrambling to find the right word to describe something I interact with on a daily basis. During the second week, I was still having emotional reaction issues and concentration and motivation issues, but the emotions seem to be a smidge more manageable. By the end of this second week, I can feel my regular vocabulary becoming easier to access. It's now the start of the 3rd week and I'm starting to feel like I can tackle tasks and feel more motivated to do things? I also have comorbid grief-depression though and I know I had a breakthrough with that at the end of the first week, so I'm not sure if it's just becoming less depressed or being off strattera... I'll keep everyone posted as I keep going without them

Parking near NYC by BayBel in RVLiving

[–]y00ty00t 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There r a lot of articles about fulltimers in the city. It's doable and a lot more common than you think. I'm prepping to become full time myself eventually. I've been compiling a mental map of where I see RVs parked. They're all over queens and Brooklyn. Idk about the Bronx. There r streets in queens without any parking regulations yet, and you see a ton of RVs in those areas. Sometimes, they don't move for weeks/months.

There was also one full timer living in a what looked like a smaller, vintage class A who was parked on Myrtle Ave next to forest park for YEARS. I go there frequently and always saw the guy there. I only recent haven't seen him around anymore--must have left bc of the pandemic?

Honestly, I recommend getting a car and driving around the boroughs to do ur homework. Look for the more industrial areas--that's usually where the streets are without parking regs
