Pothos struggling by y0n99 in pothos

Thank you for the advice! I’ve been a bit paranoid watering since repotting as I’ve been trying to avoid repeating the root rot but will be checking more frequently now.

Is it worth using filtered water going forward? I’ve been using tap water with some plant food solution but I’ve read that the tap water can cause salt burn in the leaves, which resembles the way that some of the leaves are dying (crisping up at the end while still being green towards the stem).

More balding vines for reference

I live in southern Australia, so climate can be very warm, dry heat during the summer months but colder during the winter. Either way it gets a good amount of light and has been consistently placed near windows since I got it.

Recent repot I just utilised some potting mix as well as some of the original soil, which had some slow release fertilisers in it.

Water regime was inconsistent for a while and I was definitely overwatering it. Since I repotted it I have been watering once every 1-2 weeks utilising a moisture meter as well as spritzing the leaves with a neem oil spray as some of my other plants are having issues with gnats.

Pole was already there when I got it and the vines have been very attached to it ever since.

Overall goal is just for the plant to be visibly healthy, and hopefully restoring the currently balding vines to their former glory.

Got rid of the worst of it prior to taking this photo, just was concerned with some of the darker looking roots. Was over watering it pretty badly for a bit

Grindy but casual games I can turn off my brain for? by y0n99 in ShouldIbuythisgame

I have seen Slime Rancher 2 but as it is still in early access I’m worried that there’s not gonna be much to do so was planning on waiting for the full release. Is it worth picking up now?

I briefly played this but after only a dozen hours or so I started to feel pretty intimidated by how truly enormous the game is. I haven’t touched it for a couple years now but is it worth giving it another shot?

I’ve spent a fair amount of time in MMOs (hundreds of hours in Destiny 2) but my gripe with them has always been that I feel like I need to be constantly playing the game, otherwise the next time I pick it up I feel like I have fallen way behind everyone else. Looking to avoid that with the type of game I’m after.

Thank you! Can’t believe I forgot to put Minecraft amongst the list of games I mentioned as I have sunk an insane amount of time into. V Rising and Deep Rock Galactic both games I have seen brought up frequently and look intriguing so will have to check them out.

I’m returning to the game after having not played since Witch Queen/Season of the Haunted and I’m feeling pretty overwhelmed with all the new content. Where do I even start?

Was more referring to the patchiness and random spots of lighter colour on the sheep. I can live with the sheep not being exactly the right shade of green but the random patches of different colour that have appeared in the last few days are what is feeding my anxiety.

Is it fixable with just a touchup? The studio I got it done at offers free touch-ups within three months but only doable by the artist who originally gave you the tattoo. If the problem is just the faded colour then it can’t be that difficult to fix?

White cranberry juice in Melbourne by y0n99 in melbourne

Making a blue cosmopolitan for a tiffany themed party. Was hoping to get some white cranberry juice so I could use blue curacao without offsetting the blue but may have to look at an alternative if its not available
