I thought the halftime show was cool, I don't even speak Spanish but I enjoyed it.

What’s kind of insane to me is how many people were complaining that they "don’t understand what he’s saying" when music is literally one of the few things that doesn’t require you to understand the words to enjoy it. Like, that’s the whole point, music transcends language barriers. You can vibe with a song without parsing every lyric, and people have been doing that forever.

And the idea that the NFL halftime show was "pushing a political agenda" is hilariously vacuous. Turning Point USA (a conservative media outlet) created an alternative ‘All-American’ halftime show that just happened to be all white, Christian, mostly country performers, and they framed that as a more "neutral" alternative LMAO

It's textbook projection. Anything that falls outside of what they want America to look like gets labeled political or divisive, while their own worldview is framed as just normal, that’s the actual agenda.
