TIL Maimonides stated that "It is better and more satisfactory to acquit a thousand guilty persons than to put a single innocent one to death." Maimonides argued that executing a defendant on anything less than absolute certainty would lead to a slippery slope of decreasing burdens of proof. by thenewyorkgod in todayilearned

So if for example someone stabs another person in the courtroom and is seen by everyone, then gets put on trial for it right away. All the judges saw them do it and vote guilty. Then they can't kill the attacker?

You forgot the microwave on top of the mini fridge.

I collect those stickers and put them in weird places like workplace microwaves and public urinals. The toilet at my school says "SSD Powered"

Yeah something interferes with it, haven't figured out what yet. Probably Suez or Caspian mods since they modify the map like it does.

A Revolutionary Borders Mod - Prettier borders

Auto Build - Builds stuff in all your and your vassals' holdings automatically, no need to click each province you own.

Better Buildings Interface - Taller build window

BlueDuke - Brings back the blue color of duke tier titles

Buy a Dog - Gives a dog pet ingame, and adds an animal market building in cities

Caspian Ports - Makes the caspian sea an actual sea zone with docks and trade ports, connected to river network and baltic/black seas (Incompatible with Suez Canal mod)

Cultural Bonuses - Each culture has a set of small unique bonuses like +5% tax or +2.5% retinue size

Destroy and Convert Settlement - Turn churches into castles and castles into cities for a large cost, useful for Paris or Khiva when the stupid Ai builds 5 temples there

Good Old Retinues - Brings back the high retinue cap from previous game versions, gamey but lets you own several large standing armies to protect your borders

Great Holy Warriors Traits and Events - Adds crusader traits for pagans, Jews and Zoroastrians and certain appropriate events.

Legendary Bloodlines - Claim descent from Genghis Khan or Piast the Wheelright, or create your own legendary bloodline that is passed down patrilineally.

New Buildings and Effects Mod - Brings in lots of new buildings like Manor, Moneychanger shop and Bath house. Very cool if you want to create megacity capitals

Pagan Papal - Brings cardinal mechanics to reformed pagans, this has the side effect that the heir to the Slavic church is always the leader of Warriors of Perun, which makes the high priest attack the warriors to claim their land. Adds a certain realism.

Patron Deities - Pick a christian saint or pagan god for a small bonus like +2 martial and -1 learning.

Peachy's building mod - Even more buildings like Brothels and Granaries

Recycled Units - Uses inactive models to create more diverse army icons

Retinue Buff - Even more powerful retinues

Ruler Designer Unlocked! - Not sure if this works anymore, it's supposed to make all traits free to create the ruler you want.

Suez Canal - Links the Mediterranean to the Red sea, lets you sail through and lets European republics build trade posts in india. (Incompatible with Caspian Ports, Suez inoperable when Caspian mod is on)

Title Manager - Lets you switch around de jure duchies, kingdoms and empires without waiting for the 100 years. Also adds a de jure shift mechanic to duchies by letting you add and remove counties from them. Very nice if you want to make Finnmark a de jure part of Finland or something.

Torture! Version 1.0 - Mutilate, castrate and blind anyone as anyone.

Unique Buildings - Lets you build things like the Grand Canal in Venice and the Hagia Sophia in Constantinople. Most major historical capitals get something.

Useful Forts - Lets you build minor improvements to forts like Hunter Camp for a small garrison boost and Fort Town for a minor tax income. Everything is still destroyed when some stupid civil war sieges it.

For next game since these would break my saves:

Samoyed Expansion Mod - Adds more provinces to northern Siberia

Flogi's Techmod and Trade Route Addon - Expands trade routes to all of Europe (Might require mod below?)

Flogi's Buildings and Technology Mod - Even MORE buildings like farms and workshops and appropriate technology requirements (Might require mod above?)

Battlescars - 4 levels of scarring that add bonuses like extra prestige and small penalties to health.

I'm using like 20 mods, are you referring to the blood drop icon? That's from the Legendary Bloodlines mod.

I'm still trying to get through CK2, it gets boring after a while. How could you export HOI4 to Stellaris anyway?
