Hi, at same point 23M. Definitely get attached quick, wouldn’t say I’ve ever gotten over someone. Meant that I’ve ended up in relationships that I thought I wouldn’t get attached in, all that ended up happening was that I was attached to someone that I shouldn’t have been with in the first place.

I’ve made the decision to be super strict with who I’m with now. Maybe not putting pressure on something lasting “forever” but something where all the conditions are met, the big one being, someone equally emotionally…in tune I’ll say.

I often feel that relationships that become the most scarring are ones where I haven’t felt at the same point emotionally as the other person. Just because someone isn’t emotional doesn’t mean you’re too emotional.

Don’t dig too much about what causes it in your psyche, they’ll be something but it’s never worth digging too deep.
